Corry Evans has hailed the development of his brother Jonny Evans after the Manchester United defender led Northern Ireland to a 1-1 draw in Portugal on Tuesday night.
Both Evans brothers starred as they helped their country pull off a surprise result in Porto, but the Hull City midfielder believes that his country need more players like Jonny if they are to achieve similar results.
"He was really good, he's a great player. I think Jonny's grown over the last couple of years," he said.
"He's established himself in the first team at United and that can only bode well for the future of Northern Ireland because we'll need players like him if we are going to go away from home and get results."
Northern Ireland's draw left them in fourth place in their World Cup qualifying group.
