England captain Steven Gerrard has admitted that he is not concerned by Rio Ferdinand's decision to reject the Three Lions squad.
The Manchester United centre-back decided against joining up with his national teammates for their World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Montenegro.
The 34-year-old stated that the international fixtures didn't fit into his strict training regime at United, but has since agreed to perform as a TV pundit in Qatar for tomorrow's match against San Marino.
"I just look at the players that are here in the squad and worry about them," Gerrard said in a press conference. "It would have been nice for Rio to be here but he's not and we move on without him."
Meanwhile, defender Gary Cahill has been ruled out of Tuesday's match against Montenegro.
