Bayern Munich forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.
The 33-year-old has been in impressive form for the German champions during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering three assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.
Choupo-Moting missed the start of the season with a groin problem, but he has been a regular since returning to action in September, scoring three times in seven Bundesliga appearances, in addition to finding the back of the net on five occasions in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal.
The experienced forward has netted in his last three Bundesliga appearances against Freiburg, Hoffenheim and Mainz 05, in addition to his last two Champions League games versus Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Since arriving at Bayern from Paris Saint-Germain in 2020, he has scored 26 goals and registered nine assists in 71 appearances for the Bundesliga giants in all competitions.

There is currently speculation surrounding the forward's future, with his current deal at Allianz Arena due to expire next June.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are planning to open talks over a new deal for Choupo-Moting, with the Bundesliga side determined to keep hold of him.
However, Man United are allegedly keen to bring him back to the Premier League next summer.
According to Media Foot, the 20-time English champions are 'thinking very seriously' about making a move for the experienced forward, who would be free to hold talks with the club in January, providing that he does not sign a new deal before the turn of the year.
The report claims that 'his profile, versatility and experience' have made him an attractive proposition for Man United, with the Red Devils likely to be in the market for at least one new forward next summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo's contract is set to expire next June, and the Portugal international is widely expected to leave the club in search of pastures new.
The 37-year-old has been linked with a January exit, but it is now thought likely that he will see out the rest of the season at Old Trafford before leaving when his contract comes to an end.
Choupo-Moting is said to be viewed as a possible replacement for Ronaldo, and the former has previous experience of the Premier League, having represented Stoke City between 2017 and 2018.
The Cameroon international only managed five goals in 30 Premier League appearances for the Potters, though, before moving to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
Choupo-Moting scored nine goals and registered three assists in 51 matches for PSG before his arrival at Bayern, and he has won two Bundesliga titles during his time at Allianz Arena.
