Manchester United reject a proposed swap deal from Juventus including Aaron Ramsey and Douglas Costa for Paul Pogba, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly rejected Juventus' offer of a swap deal including Douglas Costa and Aaron Ramsey for Paul Pogba.

The Old Lady are thought to be the favourites to bring their former player back to Turin after Mino Raiola claimed that his time at Old Trafford was over.

With the January transfer window now open, Juve are reportedly attempting to get a deal over the line before the end of the month, but United are believed to have rebuffed the Serie A giants' advances.

According to Calciomercato, Andrea Pirlo's side offered two out-of-favour players in Ramsey and Costa - the latter of whom is currently at Bayern Munich on loan - to the Red Devils in exchange for Pogba, but were swiftly knocked back.

While a January exit still seems unlikely given the current economic climate, United will reportedly sanction an exit for Pogba - who has also been linked with Real Madrid - in the summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old started and won the game-winning penalty - which was converted by Bruno Fernandes - in the Red Devils' 2-1 victory over Aston Villa on New Year's Day.
