Charlton Athletic have climbed off the bottom of the Championship table having held Millwall to a goalless draw.
The first chance of the contest fell to Millwall's Fred Onyedinma, but the youngster headed wide from Simeon Jackson's cross to deny him the perfect start to his full debut.
Millwall continued to pressure their opponents, and it almost paid off as Jackson came close to breaking the deadlock from distance, before Shaun Williams got a shot of his own away which failed to trouble Ben Hamer.
Steve Morison was the next Lions player to come close, but after controlling Alan Dunne's cross he failed to find the target despite working a promising angle for himself.
The chances kept coming in the second half, with Rhoys Wiggins crossing for Callum Harriott to poke just wide at full stretch.
Owen Garvan's corner almost led to the breakthrough goal for Millwall with 71 minutes on the clock, with substitute Stefan Maierhofer heading just over from the in-swinging cross.
Both sides pushed to find a decisive goal in the closing stages but it was not to be, with the contest ending 0-0.
