Fulham, Newcastle United in for Czech midfielder Michal Travnik?

Michal Travnik, who plies his trade for FK Baumit Jablonec and has been capped five times by Czech Republic, is reportedly being eyed up by Fulham and Newcastle United.

Premier League rivals Fulham and Newcastle United are reportedly targeting Czech Republic international Michal Travnik.

The 24-year-old plies his trade for Czech First League side FK Baumit Jablonec, where his form earned him a first appearance for the national side earlier this year.

Travnik has since gone on to represent his country five times and also has Europa League experience, playing a direct part in four goals in his side's six group-stage outings.

According to the Daily Mail, the central midfielder - who can also shift out on the right - could be on his way to England if Fulham or Newcastle push ahead with their plans to sign him next month.

Jablonec are rumoured to want a £4m for Travnik, who is also attracting interest from Augsburg and CSKA Moscow.
