A Dutch journalist has claimed that Norwich City are in discussions to sign two players from the Eredivisie.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Marcel van der Kraan revealed that the Canaries could soon announce deals for FC Twente midfielder Leroy Fer, who was close to joining Everton in January, and Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld.
"I expect Norwich to make at least one signing from Holland in the next 48 hours. I understand Leroy Fer is in Norwich looking around the place and will probably have a medical in the next 24 hours," said Van der Kraan.
"He could be joined by Toby Alderweireld. He is also looking at Norwich today. He has flown over with his agent and will decide whether to sign for Norwich or wait for a bigger Premier League club to make a move."
Alderweireld has previously been linked with Liverpool.
