Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that goalkeeper Robert Green has been "fantastic" for the club this season.
Green played just nine times in the Premier League this season, but after establishing himself at Loftus Road during this campaign, Redknapp believes that he should come under consideration for a place in the England squad.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss told reporters: "Rob has been fantastic for us. After Joe Hart, he's in a pool of five or six goalkeepers who will have one eye on the World Cup.
"I like people who have opinions and Rob is one of those. He's a top, top goalkeeper."
The former West Ham United stopper has not featured for England since being included in the squad for Euro 2012.
