James Rodriguez reveals recovery

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez says that he is "getting closer" to full fitness after almost two months on the sidelines with a broken foot.

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez has revealed that he is close to full fitness following a broken foot.

The Colombian, who joined Los Blancos from Monaco last summer, has been out of action since breaking his metatarsal against Sevilla at the start of last month.

However, on Tuesday, the 23-year-old returned to first-team training for the capital side and he has now taken to Twitter to reveal his recovery.

"Each day I'm getting closer, super motivated," Rodriguez tweeted.

It was initially thought that Rodriguez would return against Rayo Vallecano on April 5, but the attacker could yet make the clash with Granada three days earlier.
