Keylor Navas looking forward to Real Madrid competition

New Real Madrid signing Keylor Navas admits that he faces a tough task to become the club's first-choice goalkeeper.

Keylor Navas has admitted that he faces a tough task to beat Diego Lopez and Iker Casillas to be the first-choice goalkeeper at Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old, who impressed for Costa Rica at the World Cup, has joined Los Blancos from Levante on a six-year deal.

Navas has said that he will strive to make an immediate impact at his new club.

"It will be complicated to become No.1 at Madrid. I will have to work hard and show humility," Goal.com quotes him as saying. "I will try to do things in the best way possible and we will see how things pan out.

"It's great to have signed for Madrid. I will learn a lot from all the players here. Playing for Madrid is a great experience and I will take advantage of it right from the start.

"I want to improve as a person and a player. We have a great team and are very united. I hope to adapt well and play my part."

Navas conceded 39 goals in 37 matches as Levante finished fifth in La Liga last season.
