CSKA Moscow are reportedly preparing a January transfer bid for Real Madrid's Russian international Denis Cheryshev.
The 24-year-old joined Los Blancos in 2002, but has spent the majority of his Real career out on loan and only made his first-team league debut for the club this season.
It had been thought that the Russian would again be loaned out in the summer transfer window, but it is understood that talks with head coach Rafael Benitez led to the decision to remain in the Spanish capital.
Cheryshev has struggled for action this season, however, and according to Izvestia, CSKA Moscow want to bring the attacker back to his homeland in January.
Cheryshev, who has a release clause in the region of £146m inserted into his current deal, admitted last month that he is frustrated with life in Spain.
