Team News: Charlie Austin back for Southampton against West Ham United

Charlie Austin is in Southampton's starting XI for their Premier League trip to West Ham United.

Charlie Austin has been named in Southampton's starting XI for their Premier League trip to West Ham United.

The England striker makes his first appearance since suffering a hamstring tear against Huddersfield Town on December 23.

Mark Hughes has made two changes, with Austin partnering Manolo Gabbiadini up front as James Ward-Prowse and Guido Carrillo drop out.

David Moyes also makes two alterations as Declan Rice - fresh from his Republic of Ireland debut - starts, as does Arthur Masuaku, who is back from his six-game spitting ban.

West Ham United: Hart; Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Rice, Masuaku; Kouyate, Noble, Mario, Antonio; Arnautovic
Subs: Adrian, Hugill, Evra, Fernandes, Cullen, Pask, Diangana

Southampton: McCarthy; Cedric, Stephens, Hoedt, Bertrand; Hojbjerg, Lemina, Tadic, Redmond; Austin, Gabbiadini
Subs: Forster, Yoshida, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Boufal, Long, Carrillo
