FC Twente have reportedly rejected a bid from Newcastle United for Dutch international Luuk de Jong.
The Magpies are understood to have offered £8m for the 21-year-old forward, who scored 25 Eredivisie goals last season.
That offer has been dismissed with Twente manager Steve McClaren demanding a fee closer to £15m, according to Sky Sports News.
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are also said to be interested in De Jong's signature.
