Torino director-general Antonio Comi has insisted that Danilo D'Ambrosio will stay at the club beyond the end of the current season.
D'Ambrosio, who has made an impressive start to the new season, is out of contract in the summer, but Comi is confident of holding onto the wing-back.
"D'Ambrosio is a player with great values and not only technical ones," Comi told Radio CRC.
"We are hoping to have him as part of our squad for the next few years. He is a pillar of this Toro side and he has grown as a player exponentially.
"You also have to praise Torino for believing in him during the difficult times of his career."
D'Ambrosio has played for Torino since 2010.
