Valencia boss Nuno has admitted that while Tuesday's Champions League match against Lyon is 'important', it will not define his team's European campaign.
Los Che will enter the clash in France off the back of a 3-2 defeat to Zenit St Petersburg in their Group H opener.
Lyon, meanwhile, secured a point in a 1-1 draw away to Genk in their first group match.
"We need to get the best out of each player in each game. Playing 4-4-2 against this opponent isn't the most appropriate," Marca quotes Nuno as saying.
"It will not be a decisive game or definitive game. But with the result of the first round it's necessary to score and that is of utmost importance."
Valencia overcame Monaco in the playoff round to book their spot in the group stages this season.
