Former Wales boss John Toshack has left his post with Macedonia after just one week in charge of the nation.

The 62-year-old took over on August 8, but according to the Football Federation of Macedonia, he has refused to relocate to the country.

The statement read: "Macedonia coach John Toshack is not ready to meet the requirements of FFM's chairman Ilco Gjorgjioski and agreed to terminate his contract."

Toshack has also bossed Real Madrid during an illustrious career.
