West Ham United have reportedly made an offer worth £12m for Nottingham Forest's Matty Cash.
The 22-year-old, who is also thought to be attracting interest from Southampton and AC Milan, has scored twice and contributed four assists in 27 appearances for Forest this season.
Despite bring recognised as a midfielder, Cash has operated at right-back for his Championship club during the 2019-20 campaign and has only missed one of their 28 league matches.
According to Sky Sports News, the Hammers have offered an initial £10m with £2m to follow in add-ons and are hopeful of signing the Englishman before the end of the January transfer window.
Forest would be in a strong position when it comes to any negotiations, though, as Cash has a contract at the City Ground until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
David Moyes's side are also believed to be interested in signing Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser, who will be out of contract at the Vitality Stadium this summer.
