A dominant second-half display has given Castleford Tigers a 32-24 win over Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League this afternoon.
There was little to separate the two sides in the opening 40 minutes, as both teams crossed the whitewash twice as the first half finished 12-12.
After the break, the home side found another level, as Justin Carney completed his brace and Jordan Tansey, Michael Shenton and Jonathan Walker all added to score board.
Efforts from Omari Caro and Liam Salter kept the Robins in the contest, but they were unable to match the pace of their opponents.
The result moves Castleford off the bottom of the table, while Hull KR remain ninth.
