Harlequins have signed Fiji international forward Netani Talei on a deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old has already made three appearances for the club after moving to Twickenham Stoop on a short-term contract.
Talei will act as cover while the likes of Chris Robshaw and Nick Easter take part in the Six Nations.
"With international call-ups and the squad stretched, Netani has come in and made an instant impression," director of rugby Conor O'Shea is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"Netani is vastly experienced and explosive. We are delighted we have been able to extend his stay until the end of the season at the very least."
Talei has scored four tries in 28 appearances for Fiji.
