Li Na has stormed into the third round of the French Open following an impressive 6-0 6-2 win over Stephanie Foretz Gacon.
The number seven seed found it easy to grab the opening set by controlling the clay court with a strong serve and precise returns from her French opponent, who failed to get one game on the board in the initial stages of the contest.
Gacon was successful in claiming her first game of the match midway through the second set, but it wasn't enough to trouble the Chinese professional.
Li showed her determination to retain her French Open title by securing the second set and taking the spot in round three with ease.
