David Ferrer stuns Rafael Nadal to reach Paris Masters final

Defending Paris Masters champion David Ferrer is through to the final of the tournament again after beating world number one Rafael Nadal.

David Ferrer has beaten world number one Rafael Nadal in straight sets to reach the final of the Paris Masters for the second year in a row.

Neither player seemed to have an advantage in opening couple of games, but the third seed was able to clinch a break in his compatriot's second service game.

Nadal had a chance to break back later in the set, but Ferrer punched hard from the back of the court to keep himself ahead, before serving out the set.

Last year's Paris Masters champion managed to force a break again in the second set and served for the match at 5-4, but Nadal was able to break back and keep himself in the contest.

However, Ferrer dug deep, pushing his opponent to claim the break straight back, before serving out the match at the second time as asking.

Ferrer will face Novak Djokovic in tomorrow's final.
