Great Britain's diving medal tally at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships increased to seven as Tom Daley and Noah Williams won the silver in the men's 10m synchro final.
By virtue of six solid routines, the pair amassed a total score of 422.37 to take second place, which saw the returning Daley win his second medal of the competition after taking gold in the team event.
Daley and Williams - who won world 10m synchro silver with Matty Lee in 2022 during Daley's hiatus - sat in second from their opening routine, although they fell further behind world champions China as the final progressed.
Nevertheless, a hard-earned silver medal sees Daley and Williams guarantee qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and the former now has eight World Championship podium finishes under his belt.
Hao Yang and Junjie Lian clinched China's seventh diving gold of the Championships with a mammoth total of 470.76 - achieving 10s on execution and synchro on their final dive as they finished over 48 marks above the Brits.
Ukrainian teenagers - 18-year-old Oleksii Sereda and 16-year-old Kiril Boliukh - won bronze for their nation with a cumulative score of 406.47, as Mexico settled for fourth place with 390.87 on the board.
