Philippe Mexes: 'AC Milan lost their way against Hellas Verona'

Philippe Mexes admits that AC Milan 'lost their way' during their dramatic 2-2 with Hellas Verona in Serie A.

Philippe Mexes has admitted that AC Milan 'lost their way' after conceding late to draw 2-2 with Hellas Verona in Serie A.

The Rossoneri dropped points for the third time in four games last night as a last-gasp goal from Nicolas Lopez saw the spoils shared at the San Siro.

The result has left Milan in 10th place in the table, 10 points adrift of the top three.

"At the end we lost our way," Mexes is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "It's a shame, because it was important to win at home. To concede a goal in the last minute is not nice... we have dropped two points. We have to focus right away on the Fiorentina match and picking up points."

Milan are back in action next Sunday when they travel to Fiorentina in Serie A.
