Arsene Wenger unsure of Danny Welbeck fitness

Arsene Wenger says that Danny Welbeck is a doubt for Arsenal ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that Danny Welbeck has a "little possibility" of facing his former club Manchester United this weekend.

The 24-year-old has not played for the Gunners since their goalless draw with Chelsea last month due to a knee injury.

"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta are not ready," he told Arsenal's official website.

"Danny Welbeck has a little possibility to be fit. Aaron Ramsey is not in training yet but he should be better tomorrow. I don't think we have any big injuries, maybe Welbeck will be available but at the moment he looks short."

Arsenal claimed a 2-1 victory over Manchester United on their last visit to Old Trafford.
