Gareth Bale's Wales international teammate Aaron Ramsey says the Tottenham Hotspur winger is currently "unplayable".

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey believes that Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale is currently "unplayable".

The Gunners midfielder has said that his Wales international teammate has become one of the stars of the Premier League since he was moved into an attacking role.

"As soon as they moved him up the pitch, he has been unplayable," Ramsey told The Mirror.

"When Bale first started at Tottenham they were struggling to win whenever he played [at left-back], but it is unbelievable how quickly things can change in football."

Bale scored two free kicks in Thursday night's 2-1 win over Lyon at White Hart Lane, and Ramsey has insisted that the feat was no fluke, having witnessed the winger practise them first-hand on international duty.

"Those free kicks he produced against Lyon on Thursday – I've seen how he does it when we stay behind after training with Wales.

"He stays behind and practises them and it has paid off for him."

Bale's future has been subject of speculation recently, with Paris Saint-Germain becoming the latest team to reportedly show an interest in the 23-year-old.
