Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is reportedly back in contention for an England call-up after making three consecutive starts in the Premier League.

Boss Gareth Southgate has reportedly decided to consider Jack Wilshere for England selection after his return to the Arsenal starting lineup.

Despite impressing in cup competitions, Southgate has previously opted against including Wilshere in his squad due to his lack of appearances in the Premier League.

However, according to The Sun, Southgate has been impressed with the 25-year-old, who has started in each of Arsenal's last three top-flight fixtures.

The Three Lions coach has recently shown a preference to give younger players an opportunity in the national team, but it appears that Wilshere may be included in the squad to face Italy and the Netherlands in March should he remain in Arsene Wenger's first XI.

In total, Wilshere has made a total of 10 starts and six substitute outings for the North London outfit in all competitions this season.

Wilshere earned the last of his 34 caps when England lost to Iceland in the second round of Euro 2016.
