Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: 'Arsenal can do it all'

Jurgen Klopp hails Arsenal's ability to "change styles" during games and predicts a tough test for his Liverpool players on Friday night.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hailed 'complete side' Arsenal ahead of his team's Premier League trip to the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.

The Reds won the reverse fixture 4-0 at Anfield four months ago and head into the match sitting one point and one place above their opponents.

After ending a three-match wait for a victory in the top flight last weekend, however, Klopp expects Arsenal to give his Liverpool players a serious test in North London.

"They are able to do everything," he told reporters. "I'm not sure there are a lot of similarities. A lot of the time against us, [Olivier] Giroud played from the beginning. That says a lot of Arsenal's style against us.

"They can change styles, they played a lot of long balls against us. Whoever will play, they have a strong side. On one hand we have to defend in the best game we can and if there are any gaps we have to use them. We go there to perform and get as much as we can."

Arsenal will be without Giroud for this week's game, as the Frenchman picked up a hamstring injury in the Gunners' 1-0 win over West Ham United on Tuesday.
