Gabi to miss Juventus clash

An ankle injury will keep Atletico Madrid captain Gabi out of his side's match against Juventus tonight.

Atletico Madrid will have to make do without the services of their captain Gabi for this evening's Champions League group encounter with Juventus.

The midfielder suffered an ankle injury during his side's 4-0 victory over Celta Vigo at the weekend, which he has been unable to recover from in time for the visit of the Italian champions.

That is the only injury concern to Atletico head coach Diego Simeone, who has decided to leave Jesus Gamez and Cebolla Rodriguez out of his matchday squad.

Atletico lost their opening group fixture against Olympiacos last month.
