Jose Sosa has revealed his delight after making his Atletico Madrid debut in their 2-0 win over Valencia in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday evening.
The 28-year-old joined Atletico from Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv on loan for the remainder of the season last month.
"I felt good. Naturally now I'm more relaxed. Whenever you make a debut, you have to control the anxiety and the enthusiasm and at times, the legs don't respond the way they should. As games go by though, I'll be a lot better," he told reporters at a press conference.
"Obviously the aim is to settle in as soon as possible. Getting the opportunity to play in this game was important. It's the best way to get into things quickly, because what the team needs from me is immediate."
Goals from Diego Godin and Raul Garcia ensured that Atletico booked their spot in the quarter-finals with an aggregate score of 3-1.
