Report: Atletico Madrid want Fernando Llorente

A report claims that Atletico Madrid want to sign Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly preparing a surprise January move for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.

The 29-year-old spent nine seasons in La Liga with Athletic Bilbao, before moving on to Juventus at the start of the 2013-14 season.

The Spaniard has impressed in Turin, but it is understood that the striker could be open to the possibility of a return to Spain.

According to 13TV, Atletico boss Diego Simeone will make a move in January, although Juve are said to be not keen on a sale.

Llorente scored twice in his side's 7-0 win over Parma at the weekend.
