Kevin Phillips's second-half strike moves Blackpool into the playoffs as they defeat Millwall at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool built on their impressive away win at Leeds United in midweek to move into the Championship's playoff spots with victory over Millwall at Bloomfield Road this afternoon.

Subsitute Kevin Phillips scored the only goal fifteen minutes into the second half in what was a game of few chances.

The veteran striker had only been on the pitch for three minutes or so when he received the ball on the edge of the area, turned and drove into the top corner of David Forde's goal.

Ian Holloway's side jump three places from eighth to fifth while Millwall drop one place to 16th.
