Team News: Thomas Ince handed Blackpool start for Bournemouth test

Blackpool's Thomas Ince returns to first team action for the first time since the opening day of the season, while Lewis Grabban and Brett Pitman continue in attack for the Cherries.

Blackpool manager Paul Ince has named Thomas Ince in the starting lineup for the trip to Bournemouth in the Championship today.

The highly-rated 21-year-old has not started a league fixture for the Tangerines since the opening day of the season due to a groin injury.

However, after sitting out both England Under-21 games during the international break as a precaution, the youngster is set for his return to action and will line up against the Cherries at the Goldsands Stadium this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has continued with Brett Pitman and Lewis Grabban in attack, with the duo netting five goals between them already this season.

Bournemouth: Allsop; Francis, Cook, Ward, Daniels; Fraser, MacDonald, O'Kane, Pugh; Pitman, Grabban

Blackpool: Gilks; Basham, Broadfoot, MacKenzie, Robinson; Ferguson, Angel, Osbourne, Bishop; Ince, Fuller
