Blackpool manager Jose Riga has revealed that he wants to make 10 more signings before the end of the transfer window.
The Championship club could only name two substitutes for Saturday's defeat to Nottingham Forest due to an exodus of players at Bloomfield Road over the summer.
While admitting that he is in need of some new faces in his squad, Riga insists that he will not dip into the transfer market for the sake of it.
"I need 10 more players before the end of the transfer window but I'm a realist," the Belgian told the Blackpool Gazette.
"It's more important we get the quality rather than the quantity. My obsession is to be able to build a competitive team here. I want to have choices and I need a lot. It's now up to other people to take care of the money and do the deals."
Blackpool return to action tonight when they travel to Shrewsbury Town in the first round of the League Cup.
