Bodo/Glimt are two-time Eliteserien champions, lifting the trophy in 2020 and 2021, while they were second last season, some 18 points behind the champions Molde.
While Molde have made an underwhelming start to this season, the same cannot be said for Bodo/Glimt, who have won nine and drawn one of their 10 matches to sit at the top of the table on 28 points.
Den Gule Horde are already eight points clear of second-placed Brann, while an excellent run of form has seen them triumph in each of their last nine matches in all competitions.
Kjetil Knutsen's side have won each of their last six league games, including a 3-1 success over Valerenga on June 4, while they beat Ranheim 2-0 in the NM Cupen on Wednesday night.
Bodo/Glimt have picked up 13 points from their five home league games this season, and they will be welcoming a HamKam side that have lost their opening four matches of the campaign on their travels.

HamKam boast a record of two wins, one draw and six defeats from their opening nine matches of the season, which has left them 15th in the table on seven points.
Kamma were promoted to the top tier for the 2022 campaign and ultimately finished 13th on 31 points, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
The early indications are that it could be another tough season for Jakob Michelsen's side, who suffered a 4-0 defeat to Rosenborg in their last league match on June 4.
HamKam will enter this game off the back of a morale-boosting win, though, recording a 3-1 success over Baerum in the NM Cupen, which has seen them progress to the fourth round of the competition.
The Hamar-based outfit actually held Bodo/Glimt to a 2-2 draw in the corresponding match last season, which should increase their confidence heading into what is a very tough game on paper.

Faris Pemi and Albert Gronbaek, who have scored 17 times between them this term, will also start for the division leaders, while Patrick Berg is set to play in central midfield.
As for HamKam, head coach Michelsen could have a full squad available for this contest.
Henrik Udahl has been in strong form this season despite the team's struggles, finding the back of the net on six occasions in all competitions, and he will again lead the line.
Pal Alexander Kirkevold has scored three goals in his nine outings this term, meanwhile, and the 32-year-old will also feature in the final third of the field for the visitors.
Bodo/Glimt possible starting lineup:
Haikin; Wembangomo, Moe, Lode, Sorensen; Vetlesen, Berg, Gronbaek; Mvuka, Pemi, Pellegrini
HamKam possible starting lineup:

We say: Bodo/Glimt 2-0 HamKam
Bodo/Glimt are the huge favourites to triumph in this match, and we are finding it tough to back any other result. The hosts are in excellent form and should have far too much quality in the forward positions for their opponents in this contest.
