New Burnley midfielder Joey Barton has said that it is "great to be back" at the club after he agreed to return to Turf Moor until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old has been training with the Clarets since seeing his ill-fated spell at Rangers come to a premature end following a training ground bust-up with teammate Andy Halliday.
Burnley confirmed this afternoon that Barton will rejoin on a free transfer when the window reopens in January, and the player himself is delighted to be back.

Barton scored three goals in 40 appearances to help Burnley win promotion in the 2015-16 campaign, with his form seeing him named the club's player of the year that season.
