Ahead of the latest round of Euro 2024 qualifiers, Sports Mole looks at who could qualify and who could be eliminated from contention on matchday eight.
Four places at Euro 2024 have already been decided, and more could be settled over the coming days as matchday eight of the qualifying campaign gets underway.
Hosts Germany are guaranteed a spot, and they were joined in the pot by France, Portugal and Belgium on matchday seven.
As many as nine more teams have the chance to seal their places on the plane before the current international break ends, including the likes of England, Spain and Scotland.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of the permutations you need to know ahead of the upcoming round of Euro 2024 qualifiers.
GROUP A
MATCHDAY EIGHT FIXTURES
Georgia vs. Cyprus (Sunday)
Norway vs. Spain (Sunday)
Already qualified: None
Already out of contention: Cyprus
PERMUTATIONS
Scotland will qualify without kicking another ball if Spain avoid defeat to Norway.
Spain will qualify if they beat Norway.
Only a win will do for Norway; if they draw or lose against Spain, they will no longer be able to finish in the top two.
Georgia are also in must-win territory - they need to beat Cyprus and hope that Norway vs. Spain ends as a draw to remain in contention to qualify.
GROUP B
MATCHDAY EIGHT FIXTURES
Greece vs. Netherlands (Monday)
Gibraltar vs. Ireland (Monday)
Already qualified: France
Already out of contention: Gibraltar, Republic of Ireland
PERMUTATIONS
If Netherlands lose to Greece by four or more goals, they will be unable to finish in the top two.
GROUP C
MATCHDAY EIGHT FIXTURES
England vs. Italy (Tuesday)
Malta vs. Ukraine (Tuesday)
Already qualified: None
Already out of contention: Malta
PERMUTATIONS
England will seal their place at next summer's tournament with a win over Italy. A draw could also be enough if Ukraine fail to beat Malta.
North Macedonia will be eliminated from contention if Ukraine win and Italy fail to win.
GROUP D
MATCHDAY EIGHT FIXTURES
Turkey vs. Latvia (Sunday)
Wales vs. Croatia (Sunday)
Already qualified: None
Already out of contention: Latvia
PERMUTATIONS
Turkey will qualify if they beat Latvia and Croatia avoid defeat against Wales. A draw could also be enough for Turkey if Wales lose to Croatia.
Wales will no longer be able to finish in the top two if they lose and Turkey avoid defeat.
GROUP E

Poland vs. Moldova (Sunday)
Czech Republic vs. Faroe Islands (Sunday)

Already out of contention: Faroe Islands
PERMUTATIONS
Albania will qualify for only their second-ever major tournament if Poland vs. Moldova ends as a draw and Czech Republic fail to beat Faroe Islands.
GROUP F

Azerbaijan vs. Austria (Monday)
Belgium vs. Sweden (Monday)
Already qualified: Belgium
Already out of contention: Estonia
PERMUTATIONS
Austria will qualify with a win against Azerbaijan. A draw or even a defeat could also be enough if Sweden fail to beat Belgium, so long as Austria do not lose by three or more goals.
Sweden need to win and hope that Austria fail to win in order to keep their top-two hopes alive.
Azerbaijan need to beat Austria by at least three goals to stay in contention to finish in the top two.
GROUP G

Serbia vs. Montenegro (Tuesday)
Lithuania vs. Hungary (Tuesday)

Already out of contention: Bulgaria
PERMUTATIONS
Hungary will qualify with a win over Lithuania.
Lithuania must win against Hungary and hope that Serbia lose to Montenegro to still have a chance of finishing in the top two.

Bosnia's hopes of finishing in the top two will be over if they lose to already-qualified Portugal and Slovakia beat Luxembourg.
Iceland will also be out of contention if they lose to Liechtenstein, or if they draw and any of Luxembourg, Slovakia or Bosnia win.
