Roberto Martinez has confirmed that David Henen will soon be an Everton player.
The 18-year-old is believed to have undergone a medical at Everton's Finch Farm training base earlier this week after Anderlecht accepted a bid in the region of £1.5m for his services.
When asked about his interest in the young striker, who spent last season on loan with Monaco, Martinez told the Liverpool Echo: "[The transfer] is in the process of being completed. He's a young, talented footballer who represents Belgium in the lower teams, in the Under-18s and has had good experience in going to France.
"He is a bright boy and we feel he is something different that we haven't got in the Under-21s so we are hoping he is going to be giving us something different in that group,
"We want a strong group. We have already got talented and very interesting footballers and I think David can fit in really well in that environment."
It is expected that the Belgian youth international will spend most of next season with Everton's development side.
