Report: Malaga want Steven Naismith

A report claims that Malaga want to sign Everton forward Steven Naismith this summer.

Malaga are reportedly preparing a surprise move for Everton forward Steven Naismith.

The 28-year-old joined Everton from Rangers in 2012 and initially struggled to produce his best form at Goodison Park, but the attacker has emerged into one of the Toffees' most important players over the last 12 months.

Naismith's current deal at Everton expires next summer, however, and thus far there have been no talks over a new contract.

According to AS, Malaga want to bring the Scottish international to Spain and have received encouragement in their pursuit.

Naismith, who has scored eight times for Everton this season, is currently on international duty.
