Massimiliano Allegri: 'Juventus deserved win over Roma'

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri insists that his team were worthy winners against Roma on Sunday night.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that his side deserved their late victory over Serie A title rivals Roma.

The defending champions earned a 3-2 win in Turin on Sunday night as Leonardo Bonucci's volley four minutes from time separated the teams.

Juve are now three points clear of Roma in the table following a 100% start to their campaign.

"The game against Roma was a balanced one and in the end my players deserved the win," Allegri is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"I thank my players for allowing me to go into the international break in such good spirits. We have won all six of our league games and have conceded only two goals while scored 13 times."

Juventus have the chance to make it seven wins from seven when they play their next game away to Sassuolo on October 18
