Half-Time Report: No goals between Leeds United and Reading in first period

Leeds United and Reading are still level at 0-0 despite an entertaining first half at Elland Road.

Leeds United and Reading are drawing 0-0 at half time despite an entertaining first 45 minutes in their Championship clash at Elland Road.

There were chances aplenty in the early stages, and Leeds midfielder Casper Sloth saw his deflected shot drop just over the bar within the first two minutes of the half.

Reading were also a threat, and Marco Silvestri had to be alert to deny both Nick Blackman and Simon Cox within the opening 10 minutes.

Neither side were afraid to shoot from distance and Alex Mowatt tried his luck from 25 yards in the 11th minute, but it whistled over the crossbar.

The game then began to settle down, but Mowatt drove another effort over the bar as half time approached.
