Liverpool defender Joe Gomez will be a part of Jurgen Klopp's squad for the Premier League fixture at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Joe Gomez will feature in his squad for the Premier League fixture at West Bromwich Albion.

Gomez has been out of action since sustaining an ankle injury during the early stages of England's friendly with the Netherlands on March 23.

The 20-year-old was tipped to miss a month of action and Liverpool's initial diagnosis has proven correct, with the youngster scheduled to play at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

The news comes as Liverpool prepare to face Roma in the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday night, with Gomez likely to feature on the bench should he come through unscathed in the West Midlands.

However, Klopp said at his pre-match press conference that fellow defender Nathaniel Clyne would play no part of the match against bottom side West Brom due to injury.
