Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart: 'We must win all remaining games'

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart admits that his side must win all of their remaining fixtures to prove the doubters wrong.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has admitted that his team must win all nine of their remaining fixtures to silence their critics.

The Sky Blues have come under fire following a shock defeat to Burnley in the Premier League and their exit from the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona.

However, Hart is determined to start proving the doubters wrong, starting with this weekend's home match against West Bromwich Albion.

"People will speculate. Other teams have won a lot of games and we haven't so it has made it very interesting," the Daily Star quotes him as saying.

"We know who we are and what our objectives are and we aim to win the next nine games. I will never give up, ever, and I can safely say that nobody in our dressing room will ever give up either. We will see where that takes us.

"We need to show each other and our fans and our people. If people say well done it's great, but proving people wrong has never really been our desire. Our aim is to win things and do well."

City head into this weekend's match six points behind league leaders Chelsea, who have played a game less.
