Manchester United contact Fluminense to discuss a potential move for Brazilian forward Pedro, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly contacted Fluminense to discuss a potential move for Brazilian forward Pedro in this summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old has scored 17 times in 50 appearances for Fluminense in all competitions.

The attacker was reportedly close to joining Real Madrid last year only for a severe knee injury to scupper the move.

According to Globoesporte, United have now been in touch with the Brazilian outfit to discuss a possible deal ahead of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.

Pedro, who has also been linked with Inter Milan, Atalanta BC and Bordeaux, was named in the Brazil squad in August 2018 but was forced to pull out through injury.
