Manchester United are reportedly poised to move for Monaco midfielder Nampalys Mendy, who will leave the French side as a free agent.

Manchester United are interested in signing Monaco midfielder Nampalys Mendy, according to a report.

The 20-year-old revealed that he will leave the French side this summer as a free agent after helping Claudio Ranieri's team win promotion to Ligue 1.

United are keen to add Mendy to their midfield ranks and the France Under-21 international is interested in a move to Old Trafford, reports the Daily Mail.

Mendy made 32 appearances for Monaco last season.
