Manchester United have reportedly joined the race for Schalke 04 attacker Julian Draxler, who has previously been linked with Arsenal.
The 21-year-old, who has been with Schalke since 2011, is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in European football.
United have thus far not been linked with a move for the German, but according to the Daily Express, the former Premier League champions are now firmly in the hunt for the youngster.
Draxler, who is valued in the region of £35m, is expected to be out of action until the start of 2015 with a hamstring injury.
