Manchester United have reportedly been alerted by the performances of Juan Cabal in the early stages of his Juventus career, with scouts from the English club said to be monitoring his progress.
Cabal represented Atletico Nacional's first team between 2019 and 2022 before making the move to Hellas Verona, and he featured on 34 occasions for the Italian side before joining Juventus over the summer.
The 23-year-old has started all three of his new club's Serie A matches this season, helping them to keep a clean sheet in each fixture, and according to Fichajes, he is being closely tracked by Man United.
The report claims that the Red Devils have sent scouts to watch Cabal in action this term, and that will also be the case in the coming months, as the 20-time English champions weigh up a move.
Despite only just arriving at Juventus, it is understood that the Old Lady would be open to a sale next year if they were able to secure a huge profit on the player who was purchased for a fee in the region of €12.8m (£10.8m).

Man United 'are interested' in Juventus defender Cabal
Cabal, who signed a five-year contract with Juventus upon his arrival at the club, has 87 senior appearances to his name, with 36 of those outings coming in the top flight of Italian football.
Man United considered signing a new left-back over the summer, with a deal for Ben Chilwell becoming a possibility late in the transfer market, but an agreement could not be reached with Chelsea.
The team once again have left-back issues this season, with Diogo Dalot being forced to operate in that area of the field in the early stages of the campaign due to the absences of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Malacia missed the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign with a serious knee injury which has required two separate operations, and it is still unclear when the Netherlands international could return.

When will Shaw be back for Man United?
Shaw was able to feature for England in the latter stages of Euro 2024, but the left-back has been absent in the early stages of the season due to a calf problem which he suffered during pre-season.
There is a slight chance that the 29-year-old could be back for Man United's next match against Southampton after the international break, but there are ongoing concerns over his muscular problems.
Shaw, who suffered a severe double leg fracture back in 2015, was restricted to just 15 appearances last season due to muscular issues, and it remains to be seen whether he can put a run of games together in the coming months.
Harry Amass is another option for Man United head coach Erik ten Hag at left-back, with the 17-year-old heavily involved during pre-season, but he is yet to make his competitive debut for the club.
