Walter Mazzarri rules out Napoli's Serie A title chances

Walter Mazzarri says that Napoli are unlikely to catch leaders Juventus after falling eight points off the pace in Serie A on Sunday.

Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has admitted that it is not possible for his side to win Serie A this season.

The Azzurri suffered a 3-2 defeat to Bologna at home on Sunday to fall eight points behind leaders Juventus.

"Juventus are doing something extraordinary and I have said since the summer that we have to grow," Mazzarri told reporters.

"We're all on a par now for second place and will see how the season ends, as I don't see anyone else right now who can compete with Juve.

"Maybe things will change but it's tough when they're playing like that. We should focus on other objectives."

Inter Milan are a point ahead of Napoli in second place.
