Portland Timbers have earned a narrow 2-1 win away at the Colorado Rapids in the MLS, thanks to a late Jack Jewsbury goal.
The visitors made a strong start and went close to taking the lead through Darlington Nagbe's low drive, and Gaston Fernandez's curled effort.
In a tight first half, the home side offered very little going forward and fell behind in the 38th minute as Maximiliano Urruti supplied Fernandez in the box, and he found the back of the net.
Juan Edgardo Ramirez went close for the Rapids after the break with a stinging effort from distance, but that was the closest that they came for much of the contest as Portland kept control of the game.
Urruti almost doubled their lead with a header, before he set up Rodney Wallace for a shot which was deflected over the bar.
Colorado thought that they had earned a point when Sam Cronin volleyed home in stoppage time, but Jewsbury popped up to fire the ball in three minutes later and snatch a win.
