Samuel Eto'o has said that he 'dreamed' of playing for Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille as a youngster.
The 33-year-old joined Everton in the summer on a two-year deal, but Cameroon's record goalscorer has said that it was his ambition to play in France.
"When I was younger, I had to two dreams: to play for PSG and Marseille," Eto'o is quoted as saying by Onze Mondial magazine.
"Paradoxical, right? Yes, but the first stadium I saw in my life was the Velodrome."
Eto'o came off the bench as Everton rescued a late 1-1 draw with Liverpool yesterday.
