Queens Park Rangers striker Jay Bothroyd has insisted that he will 'do his best' for the West London outfit, who are struggling at the bottom of the Premier League table.
The 30-year-old, who looked likely to be leaving the club last summer, has since drifted back into the squad under manager Harry Redknapp and has insisted that he wants to remain there.
"I thought I may not play for the club again," Bothroyd told the Fulham Chronicle. "It was tough mentally, but I stayed strong and always believed in myself. When I came back to QPR Harry gave me a chance. I just want to do my best for QPR and help keep us up."
The West London outfit are due to face Sunderland this weekend.
